METHOD OF ADMISSION
Admission of the students will be enrolled for training after a written test & interview. A list of selected candidates on the basis of merit will be given admission and informed accordingly.
Application for admission to the course should be made in prescribed form, which is attached with the prospectus. Application Forms Properly & Correctly filled in block letters should be send along with a Application fee of Rs. 100/- Candidate seeking admission to the course should attach the following documents with the Application form:
Medical form dully filled & Signed by a Registered Medical Practitioner.
Three Attested Copies of the Mark-sheet of qualifying Examination.
Conduct Certificate.
Admission Fee.
Five Passport Size Photographs.
A Demand Draft for the prescribed fees at the time of admission should be in favour of “Hyderabad College of Aviation Technology” payable at Hyderabad, must be submitted along with the Admission Form. The Admission Fee is to be sent accordingly. The fees are also acceptable in cash.
In case a candidate deserves admission but due to the unavailability of seats he is not admitted, in such case the student can reserve their seat for the next session by depositing prescribed fees in advance to secure their seats.
REFUND OF FEE
The Admission Fee & the Other Fee paid by the student is spent on the Institute for providing better facilities to the students and also to meet the huge advertisement expenses, maintenance and other related activities to provide quality education. Hence no refund of fee is permissible once a candidate has been admitted to the institute. The fee and the other charges once paid will under no circumstances be refundable, transferable or adjusted even if a student does not attend even a single class. Students discontinuing in the middle of the course will forfiet the fee, other charge and security deposit.
METHOD OF ADMISSION OF TRANSFER STUDENTS FROM OTHER APPROVED INSTITUTE
Transfer of students from other approved institutes is subjected to the No Due clearance from the head of the institute along with marks list of the subjects covered in the completed semesters duly signed by the Chief Instructor of that Institute.
In case a student wants to migrate from one institution to another a formal approval has to be sought from DAW(Trg.) Hdqrs.
METHOD OF ADMISSION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS
Transfer of students from other country is subjected to the security clearance is duly obtained through DGCA before admitting them for the course. The student should produce migration certificate & Visa Validity .
COURSE START SESSION
In one academic year, induction of only two batches per stream is permitted. Each batch shall not have more than 30 students.
The courses shall start in the July each year. The list of admitted students in a batch should be forwarded to CEO, latest by first week of September, for allotment of Computer number to the students.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT
To be eligible for appearing in any Examination a Student/Trainee should have been present for at least 80% of the Training Period.
MEDIA OF INSTRUCTIONS AND EXAMINATION
The lectures are delivered in both English & Hindi. Examination conducted by the Examination Authority is in English. As we have generally seen that the newly admitted students in the Engineering courses are weak in English. They feel great difficulty in pursuing their studies in English. For such students the Institute would manage coaching in English language.
Various state of the art teaching aids like Audio Visual Equipment, Over Head Projector, LCD panel Computer Projector etc. have also been provided as per requirements stipulated in CAR, Section – 2, Airworthiness, Series ‘E’, Part VIII, Para 4.5.
RAGGING
Ragging among any students is strictly prohibited within and out of the premises of the Institute. A cordial relationship among the students is desirable and any violation of the disciplinary rules may put students in to a serious trouble.
ABSENTS AND LEAVES
Three days continuous absents are excusable but after that a fine will be charged for per day absence.
Sickness leave must be accompanied by medical certificate issued from a registered medical practitioner. If a student remain absent from Institute for a prolonged period without any reasonable intimation his name is likely to be struck off.
HOLIDAY DETAILS
The semester break given to the students two times in a Academic year i.e. 15th of June to 1st July and 15th of December to 1st January of each year.
Every month 2nd Saturday is given holiday to students.
Some Govt. holidays and some local holidays are given to students.
